Description
Use
Due to its high elasticity, it is particularly used for the insulation of impact noises in floor systems. Moreover, the addition of the aluminium film, makes it suitable as anti-noise and thermo reflecting mattress, to lay under the screed in floor heating systems. KoSep.Lir is used as:
- Anti-noise layer for civil and industrial floors
- Anti-noise and thermo reflecting layer, to lay under the screed in floor heating systems
- Sliding layer between floors with different structural movement
- Protection layer for bituminous waterproof membranes
Application
KoSep.Lir is unrolled directly on the laying surface, which must be free of roughness and dirt. KoSep.Lir is provided with a selvage of about 10cm for the overlap. In case of auto-flattened screed, it is necessary to tape the joints with the Tape.IR.
